Borderlands is a series of action games, who’s first part released in the year 2009. Developed by Gearbox Software and published by 2K Games, this role-playing first person shooter video game is based in the hard edge of the galaxy wherein a group of planets are exploited by militarised corporations – the Borderlands.
An insane cult called The Children of the Vault appear and spread like an interstellar plague. You can play solo or co-op as one of the above-mentioned unique Vault Hunters, score loot after loots and save the galaxy from the plague. You will explore several unique and beautiful planets, each being visually appealing, which shows how much the developers have worked on the game.
You may choose to play as one of the mercenaries each having their own skills namely, Moze the Gunner, Zane the Operative, Amara the Siren or FL4K the Beastmaster.
Moze the Gunner’s ultimate ability is to summon a two-legged mech that can be customised with a variety of weapons. Zane is a hitman with many drones and a hologram-like copy that can make an enemy feel dumbfounded and attack it at the same time. FL4K the Beastmaster is a robot that can call on one of three pets to fight with them. There are many more mercenaries like above, each having their own special skills. Being a multi-player game, one can play co-op or together with the crew of 4.
One can only understand why it is the fastest-selling game in 2K history. The game boasts of a billion guns; especially one with legs! You have your traditional rocket-launching shotguns, enemy-torching revolvers and a lot more! A hardcore gamer can only appreciate the improved graphics. The hand-drawn textures and rendering give the game its iconic style. To sum it up, Borderlands 3 was definitely a game worth the wait.
